An Innovative Labor Management Partnership …

The LMCC/Nebraska is an innovative labor management partnership between the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), Local #265 in Lincoln and Local #22 in Omaha.

It is a nonprofit organization established through a collective bargaining agreement devoted to promoting the union electrical construction industry through advertising, publicity, continuing education and a wide range of services to both the union and management members.

NECA-IBEW offers the best-trained, safest and most experienced electrical workers in the country. NECA-IBEW together provides a model educational partnership through the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (NJATC) that produces the best-trained technicians and apprentices in the country. This training results in the most qualified electrical workers who excel in quality work, high project efficiency, superior safety standards and unprecedented energy savings.

The LMCC is a unique entity, working to ensure our industry partners — NECA Electrical Contractors and the IBEW tradesmen — have the capability to reach and serve their customers in the most effective way possible. We are dedicated to helping workers and employers explore creative joint approaches to become more effective to assist them in solving mutual problems and to enhance the involvement of the employees in making decisions that affect their working lives. Simply said, it is our goal to improve the local electrical industry. We provide this through collaborative efforts in communication, education & marketing as well as safety standards, legislation and innovation.
